Can I mirror with my smartphone or tablet

The following instructions are for updating the firmware / software of the television. It is not updating the Amazon Fire software.

Remote buttons you will use for this process are:

2. Directional button - use to scroll through Settings menu.

Instructions for Display Mirroring

Yes. Android (mirroring) and Apple AirPlay are supported.
However, it is not guaranteed to work on all devices.

1. Press the " Home " button.
2. Select Display Sounds
3. Select Display Features
4. Scroll down to Display Mirroring
   The following message will display "Note: while mirroring, Alexa functionality will be temporarily disabled. To exit mirroring and enable Alexa, press any button on your remote.
   Leave this screen open to enable guest devices to wirelessly mirror their display to:
   Press any button on your Amazon Fire TV remote to exit Display Mirroring. To learn more about device mirroring, visit www.amazon.com/firetv/mirroring. "

1. Press the HOME button on the remote.
2. Select Settings > Display & Sounds > Enable Display Mirroring.
3. Install the Miracast Apps on your TV.
4. Open the Miracast app and follow the in-app instructions to start mirroring.
