Door won't Close on - Commercial Microwave Oven NE- Series Model

  1. Check for obstructions: Ensure there is no food debris, packaging, or foreign objects around the door, latch, or door hooks.
  2. Verify door alignment: Confirm the door is not bent or misaligned and that it sits evenly against the front of the oven.
  3. Inspect door hooks and latches: Look for visible damage or wear. Damaged hooks or latches can prevent the door from closing securely.
  4. Confirm unit placement: Make sure the microwave is placed on a level and stable surface, as an uneven surface can affect door alignment.
  5. Important safety notice: Do not attempt to force the door closed or operate the microwave if the door does not close properly.
  6. If the issue continues:
    1. Stop using the unit.
    2. Take a photo of the door hook, have your purchase receipt with you and Contact Panasonic Commercial Support by submitting a service request form.
