How to bake cakes. - SD-RD250, SD-YR2500

To Prepare:

1. Prepare the ingredients according to the recipe.
2. Line the bread pan with a waxed baking paper and pour in the mixed ingredients.
3. Set the bread pan into the main unit, and plug the breadmaker into the outlet.

To Bake a Cake:

1. Press the button according to your model:
   • Model SD-RD250:Press [ Select ] to select ' Bake Only '.
   • Model SD-YR2500:Press [ Menu ] to select ' 8 '.
2. Press [ Timer ] to set the baking time.
   • You cannot use the timer function for 'bake only'. This key only sets the duration of the baking time.
   • For model SD-YR2500, use the [▲] and [▼] to set the baking time. 
3. Press [ Start/Stop ] or [ Start ] to start the machine.
   • The estimated time until the selected program is complete is shown on the screen.
   • Press the button according to your model.
4. Press [ Start/ Stop ] or [ Stop ] when the machine beeps 8 times.
   • For model SD-YR2500: The bar at ' End ' flashes. 
   • Check that baking is complete by inserting a skewer into the center of the cake/tea bread. If there is no mixture stuck to the skewer, the baking process is complete.
   • If baking is complete, remove the bread pan.
   • If baking is not complete, repeat steps 1-3.

• For model SD-RD250:The total baking time, including any additional baking, must be within 90 minutes(1 hour 30 minutes). 
• For model SD-YR2500:Additional cooking time can be made up to twice. Each time should be within 50 minutes.
  • The timer will start again from 1 minute when the unit is hot. Increase the time by pressing the timer button as required.
