How to Connect Multiple Units Together – SC-BMAX5 & SC-BMAX10

The Panasonic SC-BMAX5 and SC-BMAX10 wireless speakers allow users to connect multiple units for an enhanced sound experience. This setup is perfect for creating a larger soundstage, improving stereo separation, or boosting the volume for parties and events.

What You Need

  • One main unit (SC-BMAX5 or SC-BMAX10)
  • Up to two additional units (SC-BMAX5 or SC-BMAX10)
  • 3.5 mm stereo audio cables (not supplied)

It is recommended to place all units vertically for the best sound performance.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Units

  • Turn off all speakers before making any connections.
  • Reduce the volume on all units to avoid sudden loud sounds when powered on.

Step 2: Connect the Units

  • Use 3.5 mm stereo audio cables (not supplied) to connect the main unit to the additional units.
  • Plug the cables into the AUDIO OUT of the main unit and the AUX IN of the additional units.
    • 3 units connect by Audio out and Aux in inputs

Step 3: Turn on the Units

  • Power on all connected units.

Step 4: Set the Input Mode on Additional Units

  • On the additional units, press [ INPUT SELECTOR ] repeatedly until "AUX" is selected.

Step 5: Choose the Speaker Mode

On the additional units, press [ SPEAKER MODE ] repeatedly to choose the desired speaker channels:

  • L & R : All units play the same sound simultaneously.
  • L (Left Channel) : The unit plays only the left audio channel (ideal for stereo setups).
  • R (Right Channel) : The unit plays only the right audio channel (ideal for stereo setups).

Step 6: Start Playback on the Main Unit

  • Play your desired music on the main unit, and all connected speakers will output the sound accordingly.

Additional Notes

  • You can connect up to two additional units to the main unit.
  • Each speaker controls its own sound effects, so you may need to adjust EQ settings manually on each unit for a balanced sound.
  • The illumination and strobe light effects on the additional units may not always match the main unit, even when selecting the same illumination pattern.
