How to edit a telephone number in the caller ID list.

You can edit a phone number in the caller list by adding the long distance code “1” or removing its area code.

The process to edit the number varies depending on the model. For instructions on a particular model select the alpha numeric digits that the telephone model begins with from the list below.

If your model is not listed Refer to your models Operating Manual for specific instructions.

Model KX-TG133CSK

Handset

  1. Press the arrow down ▼ to select CID
  2. Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select the desired entry.
  3. Press [ MENU ]
  4. Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select " EDIT ".
  5. Press [ SELECT ]
  6. Press [ EDIT ] repeatedly until the phone number is shown in the desired format.
  7. Press the call button Image .

Base Unit

  1. Press [ CID ]
  2. Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select the desired entry.
  3. Press [ EDIT ] repeatedly until the phone number is shown in the desired format.
  4. Lift the corded handset.

Model KX-TG153CSK

Handset - When a cellular phone is paired:

  1. Press the arrow down ▼ to select CID
  2. Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select the desired entry.
  3. Press [ SELECT ]
  4. Press [ * ] ( Edit ) repeatedly until the phone number is shown in the desired format.
  5. Using a cellular line: To make a cellular call, [ CELL ] (if more than 1 Cell phone is paired press [ CELL ] then press ▲/▼ to select the desired cell phone the press [ SELECT ]. Using a landline: press the call button Image

  1. Press [ CID ]
  2. Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select the desired entry.
  3. Press [ EDIT ] repeatedly until the phone number is shown in the desired format.
  4. Using a cellular line: Press [ CELL 1 ] or [ CELL 2 ], then lift the corded handset. Using a landline: Lift the corded handset.

  5. Lift the corded handset.
