How to minimize operational sounds during motion picture recording.

Silent Operation

Use of [ Silent Operation ] is recommended if you are concerned about operational sounds.

The operational sound of the zoom or button operation may be recorded when it is operated during the recording of a motion picture. Using touch icons allows silent operation while recording motion pictures.

Press [ MENU ] → [ Motion Picture ] → [ Silent Operation ] → [ ON ]

Silent Operation During Recording

Note: Cannot be used during [ High Speed Video ] recording.

1. Start recording.
2. Touch [ Motion Picture ]
3. Touch Icon.
   • Zoom (When an interchangeable lens compatible with power zoom is used)
   • Aperture Value (DC-FZ80)
   • Shutter Speed
   • Exposure Compensation
   • ISO Sensitivity
4. Drag the slide bar to set.
   • The speed of the operation varies depending on the position you touch.
   • Up Arrow / Down Arrow Changes the setting slowly.
   • Double Up Arrow / Double Down Arrow Changes the setting quickly.
5. Stop recording.
