How to register / pair a Bluetooth headset to telephone.
Before you proceed in registering your Bluetooth headset to the Panasonic telephone, note the following information.
- Make sure that no Bluetooth device is connected to your Bluetooth headset. Refer to your Bluetooth headset's operating instructions for proper procedure in pairing it to another device.
- The number of Bluetooth units that can be connected to a telephone does vary by model. Refer to your models Operating Manual for specific specifications.
- For link to cell models you cannot use a Bluetooth headset to talk on a cellular line.
The process to register / pair a Bluetooth device varies by model. Select your model from the list below for model specific instructions. If your model is not listed Refer to your models Operating Manual for specific instructions.

- Your Bluetooth headset must support the HeadSet Profile (HSP) specification.
- For best performance, we recommend using your Bluetooth headset within 1 m (3.3 feet) of the base unit. The base unit can communicate with Bluetooth headsets within an approximately 10 m (33 feet).
This process pairs the bluetooth device to the Panasonic base unit.
- Bluetooth headset: Set your Bluetooth headset to registration mode. Refer to the headset’s operating instructions.
- On the Panasonic handset or base, press [ MENU # 6 2 1 ].
- If your headset PIN is 0000 go to step 4. If your headset PIN is other than “0000”, press [CLEAR], then enter your headset PIN
- Press [ OK ] then wait until a long beep sounds.
- Press [ OFF ] or [ EXIT ]. When the Bluetooth headset is ready for use, the HEADSET indicator on the base unit lights up.

By pairing a Bluetooth headphone to the handset, you can enjoy hands-free conversations when talking over the phone.
Important - Your Bluetooth headphone must support the Hands Free Profile (HFP) specification.
Up to 4 Bluetooth headphones can be paired to the handset. Only 1 Bluetooth headphone can be used with the unit at a time.
This process pairs the bluetooth device to the Panasonic handset unit.
Turn on the Bluetooth Feature
- Press [ PAIR ].
- Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ to select "ON".
- Press [ SAVE ].
- Press [ OFF ].
Pairing a Bluetooth headphone to the handset
Important - Refer to the headphone’s operating instructions. If your headphone PIN is not “0000”, change the Bluetooth PIN beforehand
- Bluetooth headphone - Set your headphone to pairing mode
- Handset - Press and hold [ PAIR ] for about 3 seconds, wait until a long beep sounds.
- When the Bluetooth headset is ready for use, the HEADSET indicator on the handset is displayed. The corresponding headphone number is indicated next to the Headset indicator.
Notes
- In step 2, if the handset has been paired with a maximum of 4 headphones, you can overwrite any unwanted headphone by pressing [YES], press ▲ ▼ to select the desired headphone, then press [SELECT].
- If you cannot pair the headphones to the handset, make sure that the Bluetooth headphones are not connected to another Bluetooth device.
