How to select Audio Output Settings on an Amazon Fire TV

Remote buttons you will use for this process are:

1. Home
2. Directional button - use to scroll through Settings menu.
3. Select

Note: Screen shots and Menu items may vary by model.

1. Using Headphone Jack
   1. Press the "Home" button.
   2. Scroll to the televisions " Settings " then press Select.
   3. Scroll to “Display & Sounds” then press Select.
   4. Scroll to “Audio Output” then press Select.
   5. Make sure “Headphone Jack” is set to “Connect”.
   6. Scroll to “Audio Output Mode” then press Select.
   7. Choose your preferred mode:
      • Headphone：Output only from the connected device
      • TV Speaker and Headphone：Output from both TV speakers and connected device
      • TV Speaker and Sub-Woofer：Output from both TV speakers and connected device
2. Using Bluetooth
   1. Press the " Home " button.
   2. Scroll to the televisions "Settings " (Gear Icon) then press Select.
   3. Scroll to “Controllers & Bluetooth Devices”.
   4. Scroll to “Other Bluetooth Device” then press Select.
   5. Scroll to “Add Bluetooth Devices” then press Select and pair your Bluetooth device.
   6. Press the Home button again.
   7. Scroll to the Settings (gear icon) then press Select.
   8. Scroll to “Display & Sounds” then press Select.
   9. Scroll to “Audio Output” then press Select.
   10. Scroll to “Audio Output Mode” then press Select.
   11. Choose your preferred mode:
       • Bluetooth：Output only from the connected Bluetooth device
       • TV Speaker and Bluetooth：Output from both TV speakers and Bluetooth device
3. Using HDMI-connected Audio Devices
   You can select whether to output sound from the TV speakers or the connected device.
   1. Press the " Home " button.
   2. Scroll to the televisions " Settings " (Gear Icon)
   3. Scroll to “Display & Sounds” then press Select
   4. Scroll to “Speaker Selection” then press Select
   5. Choose your preferred output device:
      • TV Speaker：Output from the built-in TV speakers
      • External Speaker：Output from the connected device

Using HDMI-connected Audio Devices
