How to select Dolby Vision Modes 1 or 2

  1. The Panasonic DP-UB820 and DP-UB9000 Blu-ray Disc Player offers two Dolby Vision modes to optimize video output based on your display's capabilities:
    • Mode 1: Outputs Dolby Vision content with standard settings suitable for most displays.
    • Mode 2: Adjusts the output for displays that require specific signal parameters for optimal Dolby Vision performance.
  2. Steps to Change Dolby Vision Mode:
    1. Access Setup Menu:
      • Press the [HOME] button on your remote control.
      • Navigate to "Setup" and press [OK].
    2. Enter Player Settings:
      • Select "Player Settings" and press [OK].
    3. Adjust HDMI Settings:
      • Choose "HDMI" and press [OK].
      • Select "Dolby Vision Setting" and press [OK].
    4. Select Desired Mode:
      • Choose between "Mode 1" or "Mode 2" based on your display's requirements.
      • Press [OK] to confirm your selection.
    5. Exit Setup:
      • Press the [HOME] button to return to the main menu.
