How to set the clock on a Viera or OLED Television.

Description of what the faq is about


Programming of this function does vary by model. Select your Series from the list below for specific programming instructions.

If your Series is not listed Refer to your Series Operating Manual.


Note: The TV screen size is represented by "xx" in the series list. Example TC-xxCX420 series, represents models TC-55CX420 (55" screen), TC-65CX420 (65" screen).


Series TC-P50GT30, TC-P55GT30, TC-P60GT30, TC-P65GT30


  1. Press [Menu].
  2. Press [▼] to select "Setup" and press [OK].
  3. Press [▼] to select "Clock" and press [OK].
  4. Adjust the Clock (Set clock). When done, select "NEXT" and press [OK] to go to the next step.

Series TC-P42S30, TC-P46S30, TC-P50S30, TC-P60S30


  1. Press [Menu].
  2. Press [▼] to select "Setup" and press [OK].
  3. Press [▼] to select "Clock" and press [OK].
  4. Adjust the Clock (Set clock). When done, select "NEXT" and press [OK] to go to the next step.

Series TC-P42ST30, TC-P46ST30, TC-P50ST30, TC=P55ST30, TC-P60ST30, TC=P65ST30


  1. Press [Menu].
  2. Press [▼] to select "Setup" and press [OK].
  3. Press [▼] to select "Clock" and press [OK].
  4. Adjust the Clock (Set clock). When done, select "NEXT" and press [OK] to go to the next step.

Series TC-50CX400, TC-55CX400, TC-65CX400

  1. Press [MENU].
  2. Press [▼] [▲] to select "SETUP" and press [OK]/[►].
  3. Press [◄]/[►]  to select "SYSTEM" and press [OK].
  4. Press [▼] [▲] to select "VGA Setting" and select "Clock"
  5. Once clock is adjusted press [BACK] to exit.

Series TC-xxCX420

Models in series TC-55CX420, TC-65CX420


  1. Press [MENU].
  2. Press [▼] [▲] to select "SETUP" and press [OK]/[►].
  3. Press [◄]/[►]  to select "SYSTEM" and press [OK].
  4. Press [▼] [▲] to select "VGA Setting" and select "Clock"
  5. Once clock is adjusted press [BACK] to exit.

Series TC-xxDX650

Models in series TC-40DX650, TC-49DX650, TC-55DX650


Set Clock


  1. Press [Menu]. 
  2. Press [▼] [▲] to select "Setup" and press [OK].
  3. Select "Time Setup" and press [OK].
  4. Select "Time Zone" and press [OK].
  5. Press [▼] or [▲] to select "Eastern Time" etc.and press [OK].
  6. Press [▼] to select "Time" and press [OK].
  7. Press [▼] to select "Auto Synchronization" and press [OK].
  8. Select "On" if you want the time to be set automatically. For Manual setting select "Off" and press [OK].
  9. If you select "Off" press [▼] to select "Date". Enter date using the number keypad on the TV remote control.
  10. Press [▼] to select "Time". Use the number key to enter the time manually.
  11. Press [Exit] to return to video viewing.

Series TC-65DX900

Models in series TC-65DX900.


Set Clock


  1. Press [Menu]. 
  2. Press [▼] [▲] to select "Setup" and press [OK].
  3. Select "Time Setup" and press [OK].
  4. Select "Time Zone" and press [OK].
  5. Press [▼] or [▲] to select "Eastern Time" etc.and press [OK].
  6. Press [▼] to select "Time" and press [OK].
  7. Press [▼] to select "Auto Synchronization" and press [OK].
  8. Select "On" if you want the time to be set automatically. For Manual setting select "Off" and press [OK].
  9. If you select "Off" press [▼] to select "Date". Enter date using the number keypad on the TV remote control.
  10. Press [▼] to select "Time". Use the number key to enter the time manually.
  11. Press [Exit] to return to video viewing.

  6. Press [Return] or [Exit].

  1. Press [Menu].
  2. Press [▼] to select "Setup" and press [OK].
  3. Press [▼] to select "Clock" and press [OK].
