How to set the display method of Manual Focus (MF) Assist function. - Instructional Video
DC-GH5, DC-GH5S, DC-G9, DC-GX9, DMC-GF7, DC-G100
- Press [ MENU ] → [ Custom ] → [ Focus / Release Shutter ] → [ MF Assist ]
- For model DMC-GF7:
- Press [ MENU ] → [ Custom ] → [ MF Assist ]
- Available settings vary depending on the lens used.
- For model DMC-GF7:
[ Lens / AF Tracking ] | The screen is enlarged by operating the lens or by pressing [ AF Tracking ]. |
Lens / Focus | The screen is enlarged by operating the lens. |
[ AF Tracking ] | The screen is enlarged by pressing [ AF Tracking ] |
[ OFF ] | The screen will not be enlarged. |
[ ON ] | Focus can be adjusted when you press [ AF Tracking ] and the screen that lets you set the area to be focused is displayed. |
[ OFF ] | Focus can be adjusted when you press [ AF Tracking ] and the screen that lets you set the area to be focused is not displayed. |
MF Assist is not displayed in the following cases
- When recording motion pictures.
- When using the Digital Zoom.
- For models DC-GH5, DC-G9
- When recording with [ 6K Pre-Burst ]
- For models DC-GH5, DC-GH5S, DC-G9, DC-GX9, DC-G100
- When recording with [ 4K Pre-Burst ]
