How to turn off the answering machine On or Off. - Model KX-TG9541, KX-TG9542, KX-TG9552

On the Base Unit

• For line 1 : Press ANSWER ON/OFF [L1]
• For line 2 : Press ANSWER ON/OFF [L2]

On the Handset

To turn on:

1. For line 1: Press [ MENU # 3 2 7 1 ], For line 2: Press [ MENU # 3 2 7 2 ]
2. Press [ OFF ].

To turn off:

1. For line 1: Press [ MENU # 3 2 7 1 ], For line 2: Press [ MENU # 3 4 7 2 ]
2. Press [ OFF ].

When the answering system is turned on, the message counter on the base unit lights up.
