How to use Airplay

  1. Press the HOME button
    On your TV remote, press the HOME button to open the main menu.
  2. Open Settings
    From the Home screen, select the Settings icon (gear symbol) and press Select.
  3. Scroll to Display & Sounds and press Select.
  4. Scroll to Apple Airplay & Homekit and press Select.
  5. Open the Control Center on your iPhone.
    • For iPhone X or later: swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen.
    • For iPhone 8 or earlier: swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
  6. Tap the Screen Mirroring (mirroring) button in the Control Center.
  7. From the list of available devices, select your TV.
  8. If prompted, enter the 4-digit passcode shown on the TV screen into your iPhone.
  9. Once the code is accepted, your iPhone screen will begin airplay on the TV.
