How to use DEMO MODE on a Microwave Oven.

“ DEMO MODE " is a tool intended for in-store demonstration of the microwave oven to the consumer. While in Demo Mode, if you push " START ", the microwave will not fully operate as designed.

Not all models have Demo Mode. For more information on Demo Mode for your particular model, select your model number from the list below. If your model is not listed this means it does not have Demo Mode.

Model NN-CD87KS

Model NN-CF770, NN-CF781

To turn On

  1. Press the [ Micro Power ] button.
  2. Press the [ Start ] button 4 times.
  3. Press the [ Stop/Reset ] button 4 times.

To Turn Off

  1. Press the [ Micro Power ] button.
  2. Press the [ Start ] button 4 times.
  3. Press the [ Stop/Reset ] button 4 times.

Model NN-CF876

To turn On

  1. Press the [ Micro Power ] null button once.
  2. Press the [ Start ] null button 4 times.
  3. Press the [ Stop/Reset ] null button 4 times.

To Turn Off

  1. Press the [ Micro Power ] null button once.
  2. Press the [ Start ] null button 4 times.
  3. Press the [ Stop/Reset ] null button 4 times.

When Demo mode is turned on error code message "DEMO MODE PRESS ANY KEY” or “D” appears in the display window.

To Turn Off

Press [ Timer/Clock (More/Less) ] 4 times.

Instructions: Activating or Deactivating Demo Mode

  1. When "DEMO MODE PRESS ANY KEY" or "D" appears in the display window, it means the oven is in demo mode.
    • Demo mode is designed for retail store display.
    • The oven can be demonstrated with no cooking power in this mode.
  2. To turn Demo Mode ON/OFF, follow these steps:
    1. Press the Microwave button once.
    2. Press the Start button 4 times.
    3. Press the Stop/Reset button 4 times.
  3. To cancel Demo Mode:
    • Repeat the steps above.

Notes:

  • The default setting is Demo Mode OFF.
  • This function can only be operated when the word prompt is turned ON.

When "DEMO MODE PRESS ANY KEY" or "D" appears in the display window, it means the oven is under demonstration mode, microwave does not emit. Demo mode is designed for retail store display. In this mode, the oven can be demonstrated with no cooking power in the oven. 

Default mode is Demo Mode OFF.

To turn Demo Mode ON:

  1. Tap 4 times.
  2. Tap .
  3. Tap 4 times.

To turn Demo Mode OFF:

  1. Tap 4 times.
  2. Tap .
  3. Tap 4 times.
