How to Use Multipoint Connection on the SC-BMX5 and SC-BMX10

Multipoint connection is a Bluetooth® feature that allows the SC-BMAX5 and SC-BMAX10 wireless speakers to connect to two devices at the same time. This means you and a friend can take turns playing music from different devices without the hassle of reconnecting Bluetooth each time.

How to Set Up Multipoint Connection

Step 1: Connect the First Device

1. Turn on the speaker and put it into pairing mode.
2. On the first device (phone, tablet, or laptop), go to Bluetooth settings and select "SC-BMAX5" or "SC-BMAX10" from the list.
3. If prompted for a passkey, enter "0000".
4. Once connected, play some music to confirm the connection.

Step 2: Connect the Second Device

1. Keep the first device connected.
2. On the second device, go to Bluetooth settings and select "SC-BMAX5" or "SC-BMAX10" to pair it.
3. Once paired, both devices will now be connected to the speaker at the same time.

Step 3: Switching Between Devices

• When one person pauses their music, the other can press play to take over.
• If the first device is still playing, pause it manually before starting music from the second device.
