How to use the Self-timer on Lumix models DC-FZ1000M2, DC-G95, DC-S1, DC-S1H, DC-S1R
Applicable Shooting modes
For models DC-S1, DC-S1R, DC-S1H:
For models DC-FZ1000M2, DC-G95:
- Set the drive mode dial to [ Self timer ].

Decide on the composition and then adjust the focus.
- Press the shutter button halfway.
- The focus and exposure are fixed when the shutter button is pressed halfway.

Start recording.
- Press the shutter button fully.
- The self-timer lamp blinks and then the shutter is released.
Setting the Self-timer Time
For models DC-S1/DC-S1R/DC-S1H: [ Menu/Set ] → [ Still shooting ] → [ Still Shooting Settings ] → [ Self Timer ]
For models DC-FZ1000M2, DC-G95: [ Menu ] → [ Rec ] → [ Self-Timer ]

Takes a picture after 2 seconds.

Note:
- We recommend using a tripod when recording with the self-timer.

When the following functions are being used, [
10 Second Self-Timer
] is not available:
- Filter Settings: Simultaneous Record without Filter
- Bracket recording
- Multiple Exposure

The self-timer does not work while you are using the following functions:
- High Resolution Mode
- Post-Focus

For models DC-FZ1000M2, DC-G95:
This function is not available in the following cases:
- During motion picture recording
