LDAC does not play

Step 1 Confirm LDAC is enable on the headphones EAH-AZ100

  1. Open the Technics Audio Connect App.
  2. Select "Setting" (top right corner).null
  3. Enable "LDAC for headphones" null.
    • Note: By default, the "LDAC for headphones" setting is off.
  4. Select "OK".

  5. Select "Go to the Settings" for multi-point connection settings.
    null
  6. Select "Only 1 device" (disable multi-point).
    null
    • Note: By default, the multi-point connection is set to "2 devices".

Step 2: Confirm that LDAC is enable on the headphone settings of the Bluetooth device. (Example Galaxy S25 Ultra settings for LDAC)

  1. Go to the "Setting" of Galaxy S25.
  2. Select "Connections".

  3. Select "Bluetooth" – Make sure Bluetooth is enabled.

  4. Go to the "Settings" of EAH-AZ100.

  5. Enable LDAC.

Confirm if the audio is streaming LDAC with Galaxy S25 Developer options

  1. Go to the "Setting" of Galaxy S25.
  2. Select "Developer options" (located all the way at the bottom).

  3. Play any audio from the app.
    • Example: Using TIDAL to play a high-resolution music track.<br /. null

    Step 2 Confirm if the audio is streaming LDAC with Galaxy S25 Developer options

    1. Go to the "Setting" of Galaxy S25.
    2. Select "Developer options" (located all the way at the bottom).

    3. Play any audio from the app.
      • Example: Using TIDAL to play a high-resolution music track.<br /. null
    4. Step 3 Confirm HD audio is enable on the LDAC playback device

      1. On the Galaxy S25 Developer options, confirm that the track is being played using the LDAC codec.
