Earbud Charging Troubleshooting
If one of the earbuds has stopped charging, follow these troubleshooting steps:
1. Check the Charging Case and Connections
- Ensure the charging case has sufficient battery. Charge the case fully before placing the earbuds inside.
- Confirm that the earbud is correctly seated in the charging case. It should fit snugly, and the charging indicator light should activate.
2. Inspect and Clean the Charging Contacts
- Dirt or debris on the earbud or charging case contacts can prevent proper charging. Refer to "How to clean the charge contacts" video on our YouTube channel.
- Gently clean the charging contacts on both the earbud and the case using a soft, dry cloth or a cotton swab. Also refer to the "How to clean the earbuds" video on our YouTube channel.
3. Reset the Earbuds
- Perform a reset of the earbuds by following the reset procedure in the operating manual or the support article "How to Reset". This can resolve connection and charging issues.
4. Check for Firmware Updates
- Ensure your earbuds are running the latest firmware version.
- Use the Technics Audio Connect App to check for updates and apply them if needed.
5. Test with Another Device
- Place the earbuds in the charging case and connect the case to a different USB power source to rule out issues with the original charger or cable.
6. Swap the Left and Right Earbuds
- Place the non-charging earbud in the slot for the charging earbud and check if it charges.
- If it still does not charge, the issue may be with the earbud itself.
7. Verify Proper Use
- Confirm that no foreign objects are in the charging case that might block the connection.
- Ensure you are not trying to charge in extreme temperatures, as this can affect charging performance.
