The Toaster Oven cannot be turned on
- Check the Power Source: Check to see if the power plug is securely inserted into the wall functioning electrical outlet. Try plugging in another device to verify that the outlet is working.
- Inspect the Power Cord: Examine the power cord for any visible damage, such as cuts, frays, or exposed wires. A damaged cord can prevent the toaster oven from receiving power.
- Check the Circuit Breaker: If the outlet is not working, the circuit breaker may have tripped. Locate the breaker panel and reset any tripped breakers.
- Look at the Control Settings: Make sure all control dials or digital settings are correctly set. For some toaster ovens, if the timer is not set, the unit won’t turn on.
- Test the Door: Some toaster ovens have a safety feature that prevents operation if the door is not securely closed. Check that the door is completely shut.
- Allow the Toaster Oven to Cool Down: If the oven was recently used, it may need to cool down before it can be used again. Wait for about 10–15 minutes, then try turning it on.
- Refer to
operating instructions
for specific warranty information: If none of the above steps work, the toaster oven may have an internal issue that requires service. For service repair contact a Panasonic authorized service centre.
