Troubleshooting - In motion pictures, abnormal clicking and buzzing sounds are recorded.

With recording in a quiet environment, the sound of aperture and focus actions may be recorded in motion pictures. Focus operation can be set to [ Off ] in [ Continuous AF ].

Press [ Menu ] → [ Motion Picture → [ Continuous AF ].

For models DC-S1, DC-S1H, DC-S5:

Press [ Menu/Set → [ Motion Picture ] → [ Focus ] → Select [ Continuous AF ] → [ Off ]

Should your camera have the [ Silent Operation ] function, the use of [ Silent Operation ] is recommended if you are concerned about operational sounds. If you block the microphone with your fingers while motion pictures are being recorded, the audio may be recorded at a low volume or may not be recorded at all. In this case, the camera may pick up the lens operating sounds more easily.
