Troubleshooting Questions for the Call Block Machine


Troubleshooting - Error message "Check LINE IN".


The telephone line cord has not been connected yet or not connected properly.

Troubleshooting - Error message "Memory full".


Possible cause and solutions

  • The call block list memory is full. Erase unwanted entries. Refer to "How to View / Erase call block numbers".
  • The allow list memory is full. Erase unwanted entries. Refer to "How to delete a number from the allow list."

Troubleshooting Call ID problems


Caller information is displayed.

  • You must subscribe to Caller ID service. Contact your phone service provider for details.
  • If your unit is connected to any additional telephone equipment such as a Caller ID box or cordless telephone line jack, plug the unit directly into the wall jack.
  • If you use a DSL/ADSL service, we recommend connecting a DSL/ADSL filter between the unit and the telephone line jack. Contact your DSL/ADSL provider for details.
  • The name display service may not be available in some areas. Contact your phone service provider for details.

Caller information is not announced

The Talking Caller ID feature is turned off. Turn it on

  1. Press [ MENU ].
  2. Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select " Talking CID".
  3. Press [ OK ]
  4. Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select [ ON ].
  5. Press [ OK ]
  6. Press [ EXIT ]

Caller information is not displayed on your external phone

Turn on the "Through mode" using the following method.

  1. Press [ MENU ].
  2. Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select "Through mode"
  3. Press [ OK ].
  4. Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select [ ON ]. 
  5. Press [ OK ].
  6. Press [ EXIT ].

Note:If you turn on the Through mode, your external phone rings once even if you registered the phone number in the block list.

The unit does not work, no power.


  • Check the connections.
  • Unplug the AC adaptor to reset the unit. Reconnect the adaptor and try again.
