Food Processor stops during operation.

If the protection device for overload or overheating is activated, or if the safety lock is triggered follow these steps:

  1. Refer to the "Overload and Overheating Protection" section for inspection.
    Overload and Overheating Protection
In case of overload and overheating, the protection device is triggered to stop operation and it is not abnormal. After rotation stops, follow the below steps:
    • Do not use the appliance repeatedly without any countermeasure.
      1. Turn the rotary switch to “0” position, unplug the appliance.
      2. Remove the bowl from the motor housing. Reduce the ingredients to less than half.
    • Remove the prohibited ingredient if used.
  2. Reset the bowl, start blending again.
If the appliance still does not operate after performing the above, the overheating protection has been activated. Turn the rotary switch to “0” position, unplug and rest the appliance for about 15 minutes or more (until motor housing returns to a normal temperature) to release overheating protection before using again. Refer to Warranty information USA or Canada below.
  • Check if the safety lock is engaged. Abnormal vibration during operation might cause the safety lock to disengage.
