- Recording in the MP4 file format is now supported with the functions below.
- Background recording, interval recording, super slow-motion recording, VFR(variable frame rate) recording, dual codec recording [X2 only]
- File formats compatible with dual codec recording have been added. [X2 only]
- Menu and user button functions regarding gain adjustment have been added.
- The AE Level Effect setting can now be reset to [0EV] when the power is turned off or when switching between shooting mode and playback mode.
- Focus assist function is now available at Auto Mode and while auto focusing.
- Face detection/tracking AE&AF function in manual mode is now available.
- One push auto iris function has been added.
- New functions can now be assigned to user buttons.
- Image stabilization at O.I.S. mode [NORMAL]/[STABLE] has been improved.
- Several minor bugs have been fixed.
