Although the image quality deteriorates every time you zoom in further, you can zoom in up to four times the original zoom magnification(Continuous zooming is not possible). Press [MENU] → [Rec] → [Digital Zoom] → [4x] / [2x]

When using the Digital Zoom, we recommend using a tripod and the self-timer for taking pictures.
This function is not available in the following cases:
- Creative Control Mode
  - [Toy Effect]
  - [Toy Pop]
  - [Miniature Effect]
- When [Quality] is set to [Raw], [Raw / JPEG] or [RAW / High Quality JPEG]
- When recording 4K photos
- When recording with the Post Focus function
- When using [Multi Exp.]
- For Model DC-G9
  - When recording 6K photos (only when [6K 18M] is set)
  - When using [High Resolution Mode]
  - When [High Speed Video] is set
