How to change the active sound mode - SC-HTB01

To change the active sound mode, you will need to use the remote control.
There are 4 different options for sound modes: STANDARD, MUSIC, CINEMA, and GAME. View the information below to understand when you would want to use a specific sound mode.

STANDARD

Best suited for dramas and comedy shows

MUSIC

Enhance the sound of musical instruments and songs.
Note: This mode is suited to high resolution sound sources.

CINEMA

Produces three-dimensional sound unique to movies

GAME

This mode enables you to enjoy a sound field that suits gaming in a personal environment. You can enjoy three different modes to match the game genre you are playing. Click [GAME] while in the game mode to change to one of the three settings listed below.


Game Mode 1:

  • This mode is suited to playing RPG (Role Playing Games).

    How do I know if I'm in this game mode?
    Taking a look at the LED indicators on the front of your unit:
    • "3D SRND" is lit green
    • "GN-GAME/AV OR-TV" is lit green

  • Game Mode 2:

  • This mode is suited to playing FPS (First Person Shooter) games.

    How do I know if I'm in this game mode?
    Taking a look at the LED indicators on the front of your unit:
    • "3D SRND" is lit orange
    • "GN-GAME/AV OR-TV" is lit green

  • Game Mode 3:

  • This mode enhances voices. It makes people's voices easier to hear.

    How do I know if I'm in this game mode?

    • "3D SRND" is lit orange
    • "GN-GAME/AV OR-TV" is lit orange
