How to change the Bluetooth PIN (Personal Identification Number).
The PIN is used to pair a Bluetooth device to the Panasonic telephone. The default PIN is “0000”. To prevent unauthorized access to this product, we recommend that you change the PIN, and keep it confidential.
Important:
Please make note of your new PIN. The unit does not reveal the PIN to you.
The process to change the pin varies by model. Select your model from the list below for model specific instructions. If your model is not listed Refer to your models Operating Manual for specific instructions.
KX-TG153CSK, KX-TG175CSK
This process pairs the bluetooth device to the Panasonic base unit.
Handset
- Press [ MENU # 6 1 9 ].
- Enter the new 4 digit PIN.
- Press [ OK ].
- Enter the new 4 digit PIN again.
- Press [ SAVE ].
- Press [ OFF ] or [ EXIT ].
Note
If you forget your PIN you can change the PIN using the following method.
Handset
- Press [ MENU # 6 1 9 ].
- Press [ *7000 ].
- Enter the new 4 digit PIN.
- Press [ OK ].
- Enter the new 4 digit PIN again.
- Press [ SAVE ].
- Press [ OFF ].

- Press [ MENU # 6 4 5 ]. If the unit prompts you to enter the old PIN (When the default has been changed), enter the current 4-digit PIN.
- Enter the new 4 digit PIN.
- Press [ OK ].
- Enter the new 4 digit PIN again.
- Press [ SAVE ].
- Press [ OFF ].
