How to clean and maintain the rice cooker.
- Be sure to unplug and carry out these operations when the appliance is cooled down.
- Do not use objects such as benzine, thinners, cleansing powder or metal scrubbers.
- When cleaning the appliance body, wipe down with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it into water, or clean it with laquer thinner, alcohol, cleaning powder or hand brush, etc.
- Do not use dishwasher.
Models with Steam Vent

Caution:
The steam vent and inner lid may be removed from the appliance. Clean it after every use.
Do not place it in a dish washer. Otherwise the material may deform or crack.
When installing it after cleaning, please make sure that the parts have been installed properly.
Models with an Inner Lid
- Remove the inner lid Hold the two tabs, then pull them
towards you.
- Wash with a diluted dishwashing detergent and sponge.
- Attach the inner lid
- Insert the protruding part into the locker on the outer lid in a tilted way.
- Load and Unload tabs of inner lid. To do this Press the tabs (both sides) inwards the outer lid sides until the click sound is heard.
Pan
Wash with a diluted dishwashing detergent and sponge and wipe off the external surface of the pan.
Temperature sensor or Cast heater
If an object has become stuck to the temperature sensor or cast heater, slightly polish it off using fine sandpaper (of about # 600). Then wipe with a well-wrung cloth.
- Colour changes or striped may appear on the fluoridized coating surface, which will not affect human health or normal functions of the appliance.
- Depending on the frequency of use, rubbing traces may appear on the outside of the pan, which will not affect the performance of the appliance.
- Do not use a dishwashing detergent.
Body / Outer lid
Wipe with a well-wrung cloth.
Upper frame
Wipe with well-wrung cloth. Do not pour water directly on the upper frame.
Accessories
Wash with a diluted dishwashing detergent and sponge.(ie. Rice Scoop, Measuring Cup, or models with steam baskets.)
