How to make Quinoa in my Panasonic Rice Cooker.
Follow the instructions for your model.

Preparations

Measure Quinoa with the measuring cup provided
.
- The volume of the measuring cup is about 180 mL.
- The amount of quinoa is 1 cup.

The amount of water for cooking is indicated below
Menu Quinoa (Measuring cup) Water (Measuring Cup) SR-CN108, SR-CN188, SR-JMY108, SR-JMY188 1 cup 2 cups - Note quinoa can only be cooked one cup at a time. Use the supplied measuring cup.

Add the Quinoa into the inner pan.
- Dry the outside surface of the inner pan with a dry cloth. If it is wet, it may cause noise while cooking. Any foreign matters between the inner pan and the cast heater may damage the unit.
- Make sure that the inner pan is on leveled surface..

Put the inner pan into the body and Press down on the outer lid to close.

Press down the Outer Lid until a sound of "click" is heard.
- Never heat the inner pan on a stove to avoid deformation caused by high temperatures. Do onot use any other container, instead of the inner pan, on the heating plate.

Connect the Instrument Plug to the body first and then connect the Power Plug.
- Make sure that both plugs are firmly connected.

Press down the Outer Lid until a sound of "click" is heard.

Connect the plugs.
- Please insert the instrument plug into the body first.
- Connect the power plug. Make sure that both plugs are tightly connected.
Operations
- Press { Menu Select ] button select Quick/Quinoa function (for SR-JMY108, 188 Orange LED and for SR-CN108, SR-CN188 Red LED) . The [ Start ] indicator blinks.

- The [ Start ] indicator lights up and cooking starts.
- Before cooking is completed, the LCD display will show the remaining time in 1 minute decrements.
- Cooking time for quinoa is approx. 30 min.
When Cooking is Over

Press the

.
- When cooking is over, the rice cooker will automatically switch to the Keep Warm function (The [ Start ] indicator turns off and the [ Keep Warm ] indicator lights up automatically).
- To prevent the rice from sticking together and reducing its taste, it is best to loosen the rice immediately.
- Please use the attached Rice Scoop to fill quinoa instead of a metal spoon which may cause scratches to the Inner Pan.
- Using the keep warm function is not recommended for “Quinoa”, “Brown”, “Multi Grain”, “Sticky”, “Porridge”, “Clay Pot”, “Soup/Slow Cook”, “Cake/Bread” or “Steam”. Please press the [Off] button to turn off the keep warm function. The rice cooker will enter into a start of standby, and then unplug the rice cooker.

Model SR-ZG105, SR-ZG185

Preparations

Measure Quinoa with the measuring cup provided

- The amount of quinoa is 1 - 2 cups for SR-Z(G/X)185.
- The amount of quinoa is 1 cup for SR-Z(G/X)105.
- The amount of quinoa is 2 - 4 cups for SR-ZS185.
- The amount of quinoa is 1 - 2 cups for SR-ZS105.

The amount of water for cooking is indicated below

Add the Quinoa into the inner pan.
- Dry the outside surface of the inner pan. If it is wet, it may cause noise while cooking. Any foreign matters between the inner pan and the cast heater may damage the unit.

- If rice is too hard or too soft, please adjust water amount according to your personal taste.

Put the inner pan into the body and close the outer lid.
- In order to closely attach the bottom of inner pan to the cast heater, rotate the inner pan along the direction indicated by the arrow 2 or 3 times.
- Check whether the inner lid and steam cap are properly set.

Close the outer lid until it clicks.

Connect the plugs.
- Please insert the instrument plug into the body first.
- Connect the power plug. Make sure that both plugs are tightly connected.

When cooking is over, the electric rice cooker beeps and automatically switches to the Keep Warm function (The
indicator turns off and the
indicator lights up automatically). However, we do not recommend using the Keep Warm function as it may affect the taste. Press the
