How to protect/unprotect a scene or still picture. - HC-X1

Scenes/still pictures can be protected so that they are not deleted by mistake. (Even if you protect some scenes/still pictures, formatting the SD card will delete them.)

Press the THUMBNAIL button to switch this unit to the Playback Mode.

  1. Press [ MENU ].
  2. Touch [ VIDEO SETUP ] or [ PICT.SETUP ].
  3. Touch [ SCENE PROTECT ].
  4. Touch the scene/still picture to be protected/unprotected.
    • When touched, the scene/still picture is selected and the Lock icon Lock icon indication appears on the thumbnail. Touch the scene/still picture again to cancel the operation.
  5. Touch [ RETURN ].
  6. Touch [ EXIT ] to exit the menu setting.
