How to record channels from a satellite receiver.

Ensure that your satellite receiver is correctly connected to your DVD recorder by connecting the "Audio/Video OUT" on your satellite to the "Audio/Video IN" on your DVD recorder.

Using the remote control, set the date, start time, stop time and "Line input" or IN input (if the satellite is connected to this input) to record. If your unit is connected to "Audio/Video Input 1" then select “Line 1” or "IN1" as your recording input.

Your satellite must be turned on and tuned to the station you wish to record (i.e. Channel 300).

Please note that unless your satellite receiver has two tuners you cannot record one program while watching another.
