How to reset the Wi-Fi settings - LUMIX
Performing a Wi-Fi and/or Network reset in the Setup menu will return the camera Wi-Fi and/or Network settings to their values at the time of purchase.
Always reset the camera when disposing or selling it to prevent personal information saved on the camera from being used.
The process of reset and the settings that are reset vary by model. Select your model from the list below to view model specific reset information.

Model DC-BGH1
Reset will return each of the following settings to the default setting. There is no separate Wi-fi/Network reset.
- Recording settings.
- Network settings (Settings of [LAN / Wi-Fi] and [Bluetooth], password when connected to the camera with the “LUMIX Tether” software.).
- Setup and custom settings (Anything other than [LAN / Wi-Fi] and [Bluetooth]).
To Reset from the Menu Screen
- Press [ MENU/SET ].
- Select the " Custom
" menu. - Select the " Settings
" menu. - Select [ Reset ].
To Reset from Camera buttons
Use this method when you are unable to display the Menu screen on the external device.
- Press [ Q.MENU ], [ Fn2 ] and [ Fn3 ] at the same time.
- After all the lamps blink for approx. 5 seconds, the camera automatically shuts off and then turns on again.
- The recording setting, network setting, and set up/custom setting returns to the default setting.
Reset Notes
- If the setup and custom settings are reset, the [Playback] menu is also reset.
- The folder numbers and clock settings are not reset.

Network settings are reset to the default, such as equipment information you have registered using [Wi-Fi Setup] or [Bluetooth].(Excluding [LUMIX CLUB])
To Reset from the Menu Screen
- Press [ MENU/SET ].
- Select the " Setup
" menu. - Select [ Reset Network Settings ].

Resets all settings in the [Wi-Fi] menu to the factory default settings. (Excluding [LUMIX CLUB])

- [Wi-Fi Setup] (Excluding [LUMIX CLUB])
- Registered devices in [Bluetooth] and values in [Wi-Fi network settings].

- Network settings (settings of [ Streaming Setup ], [ LAN / Wi-Fi Setup ], and [ Bluetooth ])
- Setup and custom settings (other than [ Streaming Setup ], [ LAN / Wi-Fi Setup ], and [ Bluetooth ])
Notes
- If the setup and custom settings are reset, the [Playback] menu is also reset.
- The [LUT Library] is returned to the default settings when setup and custom settings are reset. Registered LUTs are deleted.
- If the setup and custom settings are reset, [Lens Information] in [Image Stabilizer] in the [Photo] ([Others (Photo)]) menu/[Video] ([Others (Video)]) menu is also returned to the default setting.
- The folder numbers and clock settings are not reset.

- Open the camera menu.
- Go to the Setup menu.
- Open Setting.
- Select Reset.
- Choose the option to reset Network settings.
- Confirm the reset when prompted.
Frequently asked questions
When should I reset the Wi-Fi settings?
Reset Wi-Fi settings if you forgot the camera’s Wi-Fi password, cannot reconnect to a smartphone, or want to clear saved wireless connection information.
Does this reset only Wi-Fi?
No. Resetting network settings also resets Bluetooth settings.
Will paired Bluetooth devices be deleted?
Yes. Registered Bluetooth device information is deleted when network settings are reset.
Will this delete photos or videos?
No. Resetting network settings does not delete images or videos stored on the memory card.
Will I need to reconnect to LUMIX Lab?
Yes. After resetting network settings, pair and connect the camera again with LUMIX Lab.

- Network reset clears Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection information.
- Use this before transferring, disposing of, or selling the camera to help protect personal wireless connection information.
- After the reset, set up smartphone pairing or Wi-Fi connection again.
