How to return all settings to the factory preset - Blu-ray

The programming steps to reset a Blu-ray player varies by model. Select your model from the drop down list below for specific programming or if your model is not listed Refer to your models Operating Manual for the specific procedure.

Model DMP-BBT01

Reset the unit as follows:

  1. Turn the unit off.
  2. Press and hold the [ B ] and [ Y ] buttons on the remote at the same time for more than 5 seconds. The STATUS and INFO LEDs start to flash.
  3. Press the [ R ] button repeatedly until the CALL LED lights up and the ACCESS LED flashes. Image of LED light locations
  4. Press and hold the [ G ] button for more than 3 seconds.

Model DMP-BD45

Reset the unit as follows:

  2. Press and hold the [ OK ], [ Y ] and [ B ] buttons on the remote at the same time for more than 5 seconds. “ 00 RET ” is displayed on the unit’s display.
  3. Press the arrow right ► button repeatedly on the remote control or the [ POWER ] on the unit until “ 08 FIN ” is displayed on the unit’s display.
  4. Press and hold the [ OK ] button on the remote control or the [ OPEN/CLOSE ] on the unit for more than 3 seconds.

Reset the unit as follows:

  1. While the unit is on Press and hold open close tray button on the main unit and the [0] on the remote control at the same time for more than 5 seconds.
    • POWER LED starts to flash, and “00 RET” is displayed on the screen.
  2. Press [►] (right) repeatedly on the remote control until “08 FIN” is displayed on the screen.
  3. Press and hold [OK] for more than 5 seconds.

Model DMP-BD901, DMP-BD903
