How to set a delayed start.

Warning

Your microwave oven is a cooking appliance and you should use as much care as you use with a stove or any other cooking appliance. DO NOT leave the oven unattended while in use.
 

  1. Press [Timer] or [Cooking Timer] or [Timer (More)] or [Timer/Clock] or [Timer/Clock/Less].
  2. Enter the desired delay time using the Number pads.
  3. Press [Power Level] until the desired power level appears in the display.
    • P10/PL10 is the highest level and P1/PL1 is the lowest level.
    • For model NN-ST74, NN-ST75, NN-ST77, NN-ST96JS, NN-ST99JS: P0 (KEEP WARM) is the lowest level.

  4. Set Cooking Time using the Number pads.

  5. Press [Start].
 

Note:

 
  1. When each stage finishes, the oven will beep twice. At the end of the program, the oven will beep five times.
  2. If the oven door is opened during Stand Time, Kitchen Timer or Delay Time, the time on the display will continue to count down.
  3. Stand Time and Delay start cannot be programmed before any automatic function (such as sensor cook/reheat, popcorn and inverter turbo defrost, Cofee/Milk, Frozen Foods). This is to prevent the starting temperature of food from rising. A change in starting temperature could cause inaccurate results.
  4. When selecting P10 (HIGH) power, the maximum programmable time is 30 minutes. For other power levels, the maximum time is 99 minutes and 99 seconds.
  5. For reheating, use P10 (HIGH) for liquids, P7 (MEDIUM-HIGH) for most foods and P6 (MEDIUM) for dense foods.
  6. For defrosting, use P3 (MEDIUM-LOW). see defrosting tips and techniques.
  7. If oven lamp is lit while using the timer feature, the oven is NOT set properly; STOP OVEN IMMEDIATELY and re-follow the instructions above.
  8. The Standing time or Delay start feature can only be added to a 2-cycle (power stages) cooking sequence.
  9. For models NN-SN686, NN-SN736, NN-SN936, NN-SN946, NN-ST66, NN-ST67KS, NN-ST96JS: When using Standing time or Delay Start, it's up to 2 power stages.  
  10. For NN-SU65, NN stage cooking can be programmed including Standing Time and Delay Start.
