How to set a standing time.
Some recipes call for a standing time after cooking. After you have programmed the cooking power level and time, program the standing time.
The following answer applies to most Microwave Models. If your model is not listed For more information refer to the operating instructions for your model.

- Set cooking time, tapping [+] / [-] or swipe the slider bar to 3 minutes.
- Touch [] once.
- Set stand time, tapping [+] / [-] or swipe the slider bar to 5 minutes.

- Press [Timer/Clock] once.
- Set desired standing time by turning the dial (up to 1 hour and 30 minutes).
- Press [Start/Select] (dial). Cooking will begin. After cooking, standing time will count down without oven operating.
Notes
- If the oven door is opened during Kitchen Timer, Standing Time, Delay Start, the time in the display window will continue to count down.
- Standing Time and Delay Start can not be programmed together with auto programs (such as Defrost, Sensor Reheat, Auto/Sensor Cook and Steam Clean) and preheating.
This is to prevent the starting temperature of food from rising before defrosting or cooking begins. A change is starting temperature could cause inaccurate results. - When using Standing or Delay Start, it is up to 2 power stages.
- If the time exceeds one hour, it will count down in units of minutes. If less than one hour, the time will count down in units of seconds.
- An “H” will appear in the display to denote hours.

Some recipes call for a standing time after cooking. After you have programmed the cooking power level and time, program the standing time.
- Press [Power level] to enter the desired Power level. P10 is the highest and P1 is the lowest.
- P10 and P1 have a max. cooking time of 30 minutes.
- The lowest power level is P0 (KEEP WARM) which has a max. Cooking time of 30 minutes.
- Set the cooking time using the Number pads.
- Press [Timer/Clock (less] once.
- Set the stand time using the number pads. P10 (HIGH) and P0 (KEEP WARM) have max. cooking time of 30 minutes. For other power levels, the max. time is 99 minutes, 99 seconds
- Press [Start].
- The timer will start. After cooking ends 2 beeps will sound (which is the begining of standing time), Stand time will count down without oven operating and 5 beeps will sound when standing time is done.

- Set desired amount of stand time using Number pads (up to 99 minutes, 99 seconds).
- Press [Start].

Notes:
- For reheating, use PL10 (HIGH) for liquids, PL7 (MED-HIGH) for most foods, and PL6 (MEDIUM) for dense foods.
Do not overcook.
This oven requires less time to cook than older units. Overcooking will cause food to dry out and may cause a fire. A microwave oven's cooking power tells you the amount of microwave power available for cooking.
Stage Cooking:
- For more than one stage of cooking, repeat steps 1 and 2 for each stage of cooking before pressing [Start].
- The maximum number of stages for cooking is three.
- When operating, two beeps will sound between each stage.
- Five beeps will sound at the end of the entire sequence.
Note:
- After running the oven at PL10 power continously for 30 min, if the cook process is not complete, the oven will automatically adjust to PL8 power to protect the microwave and complete the cook cycle.
- If you want to cook again at PL10 power, you will need to wait 15 min before restarting.

- Set the cooking time, turn theAuto/Sensor Cook dial. PL 10 and KEEP WARM have max. cooking time of 30 minutes. For other power levels, the max. time is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Press [Timer/Clock], once.
- Set the standing time, turn theAuto/Sensor Cook dial. (up to 1 hour and 30 minutes.)
- Press [Start] dial.
- Cooking will start. After cooking, stand time will count down without oven operating.
- The timer will start and then beep twice at the end of cooking time (the beginning of standing time). Five beeps will sound when standing time is done.
- Five beeps will sound when standing time is done.
- Standing Time and Delay Start can not be programmed together with auto programs (such as Defrost, Sensor Reheat, Auto/Sensor Cook )and preheating. This is to prevent the starting temperature of food from rising before defrosting or cooking begins. A change is starting temperature could cause inaccurate results. When using Standing Time or Delay Start, it is up to 2 power stages.
