How to set the Double Card Slot Function. - LUMIX S-Series
This sets the way recording to the card slots 1 and 2 is performed.
Press [MENU / SET] → [Setup] → [SD Card Settings] → [Double Card Slot Function]

Selects the priority of card slots for recording. Relays
recording to the card in the non-prioritized card slot
after the first card runs out of free space.

Allows you to specify the card slot to be used for
recording for different image formats.

Notes
- The double slot function is not available for AVCHD videos, as these cannot be recorded to card slot 1 (XQD card).
- For [Backup Rec]
- We recommend using cards of the same capacity.
- When using the following combinations of cards,
recording videos, 6K/4K photos, and recording with
[Post-Focus] are not available:
- SDXC memory card and XQD card of 32 GB or less.
- SD memory card or SDHC memory card, and XQD card over 32 GB.
- You can register card switching of [Destination
Card Slot] to the Fn button:
- Press [MENU] → [Settings] → [Operation] → [Fn Button Set] → [Setting in REC mode] → [Destination Card Slot]
- For model DC-S1H:
- The following video cannot be continued to be recorded
on another card:
- [AVCHD] videos
- [Loop Recording (video)]
- The following video cannot be continued to be recorded
on another card:
