The camera automatically removes noise that appears when the shutter speed becomes slower to take pictures of night scenery etc. so you can take beautiful pictures.

Setting [Long Shtr NR]

Press [MENU] → [Rec] → [Long Shtr NR] → [ON / OFF]

• "Long shutter noise reduction ongoing" is displayed for the same time as the shutter speed for signal processing.
• We recommend using a tripod when the shutter speed is slowed to take pictures.

 

This function is not available in the following cases

• When recording motion pictures
• When recording 4K photos
• When recording with the Post Focus function
• When using the electronic shutter
• For Models DC-GH5, DC-G9
  • When recording 6K photos
• For Model DC-G9
  • When recording in Burst Mode (only when [Burst Shot Setting] is set to [SH2]/[SH1]/[SH2 PRE]/[SH1 PRE])
  • When recording in [High Resolution Mode]
