How to turn on subtitles on a DVD recorder.

Only disc that contain subtitle on/off information. Turn the subtitle on/off. Subtitle on/off information cannot be recorded using this unit. If the subtitles overlap the closed captions recorded on discs, turn the subtitles off.

Turning Subtitles On/Off

1. Press [Drive select] to select the DVD drive.
2. Press [Display].
3. Press [▲], [▼] to select "Disc menu", then press [►].
4. Press [▲], [▼] to select "Subtitlemenu", then press [►] to select "On
5. To exit the DVD on-screen menus press [DISPLAY].

Note:

Some settings may not be changeable, based on the unit’s current activity (playing, stopped, etc.) and disc contents.
