How to update the firmware on my Blu-ray player if it is not connected the internet.
To update the firmware when you cannot connect to a Ethernet port (for BD-Live), go to the Panasonic global website and download the latest "firmware" available for your Player and write it onto a CD-R disc or on a USB stick for models years 2011 and current.
From this site you will be able to download the latest firmware(internal software used to control the Blu-ray Disc™ Player) to enhance the products operation and/or add new features.
It is important to Panasonic that our customers are able to keep their Panasonic Blu-ray Disc™ Players up-to-date with the latest enhancements available. Using this site, you will be able to download the latest updates available for your Panasonic Blu-ray Disc™ Player.
NOTE 1
In order to update your Panasonic Blu-ray Disc™ Player using this site, it is required that you create an update disc by downloading the latest "firmware" available for your Player and writing it onto a CD-R disc. This is for model year prior to 2011. Models 2011 and Current require the firmware to be downloaded on to a USB stick.
NOTE 2
When your Blu-ray Disc™ Player remains connected to the Internet, the player can download the latest firmware and install it.
