How to Use and Manage Panel Maintenance on OLED Fire TV.

OLED Fire TV models include an automatic panel maintenance feature designed to prevent image retention. This process begins after a specific period of usage and runs when the TV is powered off, indicated by the LED turning orange. The procedure takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. Additionally, there is a manual option available, allowing you to start panel maintenance at any time.


To Manually Start Panel Maintenance

Remote buttons you will use for this process are:

  1. Home
  2. Settings Menu
  3. Directional Button - Use to navigate through the Menu Screens
  4. Select

Note: Screen shots and Menu items may vary by model.


  1. Press the "Home" Image button.
  2. Press the "Settings" Image button on the remote control.
  3. Use the "Directional" Image button, to scroll to "Panel Maintenance". Press the "Select" Image button.
  4. A message appears explaining how Panel Maintenance works and provides and option to "Start now" or "Start when he TV is next turned off". Select an option then press the "Select" Image button. If you choose "Start now" panel maintenance begins.

Notes

  • It takes approx. 10 minutes to finish the maintenance.
  • The LED lights orange during adjustment of the panel.
  • To cancel the maintenance, turn the TV on while the maintenance is in progress.
  • A Completion message will be displayed when turning the TV on after panel maintenance
