How to use the Auto Bracket Recording function. - DMC-ZS50

Applicable Shooting modes



Records 3 pictures in continuous succession while exposure is changed automatically. After exposure adjustment, the adjustment value is set as the standard.

Enabling [Auto Bracket]

  1. Press [Burst / Timer] (▼).
  2. Use ▲ / ▼ [Auto Bracket] and press [MENU / SET].
    • To change the compensation margin, press the [DISP.] button and select a compensation margin with ◄ / ►.
    • To cancel: select [Single Shot] / [Burst / Timer Off]
  3. Take a picture.
    • Press the shutter button fully to record a burst of 3 pictures while exposure is changed automatically. The first still picture is recorded without compensation, the second still picture is recorded with exposure adjusted in the negative direction, and the third still picture is recorded with exposure adjusted in the positive direction.

Notes:

  • Cannot be used with flash.
  • [Auto Bracket] cannot be used in the following cases:
    • [Creative Control] Modes.
      • [Toy Effect]
      • [Miniature Effect]
      • [Soft Focus]
      • [Star Filter]
    • [Scene] Modes.
      • [Handheld Night Shot]
      • [HDR]
      • [Starry Sky]
      • [High Speed Video]
      • [3D Photo Mode]
    • When using [Time Lapse Shot].
    • When recording motion pictures.
