How to use the handset locator to find misplaced handsets.
This function can assist you in locating misplaced handsets by paging it.
- On the base unit press the [ LOCATOR ] button. All registered handsets beep for 1 minute.
- To stop a handset from ringing (paging) press the Call
button, then press [OFF].
- To stop the base from ringing (paging) press the [ LOCATOR ] button again.
This feature is not available on all models. Operation may vary by model. Refer to feature "Locator" in your models Operating Manual for specific procedure.
Locator button may also be labeled as "HANDSET LOCATOR", "LOCATOR/INTERCOM", "INTERCOM/LOCATOR" or other variations.
