How to use the Melt feature.

Warning

Your microwave oven is a cooking appliance and you should use as much care as you use with a stove or any other cooking appliance. Do not leave the oven unattended while in use.

 

The oven uses low power to melt and soften items.

  • ie. Butter, Chocolate, Cheese
     
  1. Press [Melt]:
    • Once for Butter
    • Twice for Chocolate
    • Three times for Cheese
       
  2. Press [Start] to set the weight.
    • Enter the desired weight by pressing numbers pads 1 or 2.
    • Refer to the Melt Table below.
       
  3. Press [Start] to start cooking.

Category Amount Direction
Butter 3.5/7.0 Oz.
(100/200 g)
Unwrap and place in mirowavable container. No need to cover butter. Stir at the end of cooking to complete melting.
Chocolate 7.0/10 Oz.
(200/300 g)
Chocolate chips or squares of baking chocolate may be used. Unwrap squares and palce in microwavable container. Stir at the end of cycle to complete melting.
Cheese 1.75/3.5 Oz.
(50/100 g)
Unwrap and place in microwavable container. Cream cheese will be at room temerapture and ready for use in recipe.
