How to use the Quick 30 feature.
This feaure allows you to set or add cooking time in 30 seconds increments up to 5 minutes.
This operation applies to most models. Some models may use a Quick Minute feature which adds 60 seconds (1 minute) increments. Refer to your operating intructions for your model specific information.
To Set Time using Quick 30
- Most models Power Level is pre-set at P10. To change the power level press [Power Level] until the Power Level preferred appears in the display window.

- Press [Quick 30] or [Quick 30 (More)] until the desired cooking time (up to 5 minutes) appears in the display. Power Level is pre-set at P10/PL10.
- Press button according to your model.
- If desired, you can use other power levels. Select desired power level before pressing Quick 30.
- Press [Start] or [Start/Sensor Reheat] dial; the cooking will start and the time will count down in the display. At the end of cooking, five beeps will sound.
Notes:
- Press button according to your model.
- When selecting P10/PL10 (HIGH) power for the first stage, you may begin at step 2.
- Do not overcook.This oven requires less time to cook than an older unit. Overcooking will cause food to dry out and may cause a fire. A microwave oven's cooking power tells you the amount of microwave power available for cooking.
- After setting the time by Quick 30 button, you cannot use the Time buttons/number pads.
- Quick 30 button can also be used to add more time during manual cooking.
- This function is only available for Microwave, Keep Warm and Timer settings. It cannot be used with Automatic functions (such as Turbo Defrost, Coffee/Milk, Sensor Reheat, Popcorn, Sensor Cook, Auto Grill and Frozen Foods).
