How to use the Telemarketing call block function.
In addition to Automated call block, you can use Telemarketing call block to further screen calls to stop telemarketer calls from getting through.
Using this feature, the unit will prompt callers to say their names, and after checking the names, you can decide whether to answer the calls or not.
Note: While screening the call, call waiting feature is unavailable.
This feature is available on limited models. Select your model from the list below for specific operation instructions. If your model is not listed Refer to your models Operating Manual for specific procedure.
Model KX-TG994SK
On the Handset
- Telemarketing call block guidance and caller name announcement cannot be heard using a Bluetooth headset.
- This feature is only available for landline calls.
- During an outside call, lift the handset and then press [ TELE.BLK. ]. The unit prompts callers to say their names.
- Answer or Block the call.
