How to use WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) and HLS (Highlight Suppression) on the indoor HD camera using the HomeHawk app.


WDR brightens the darker areas of the image and provides increased contrast and picture detail.


HLS reduces the brightness in areas of the image that are too bright.

  1. From the HomeHawk home screen tap [ HD Camera ]. HD Camera is highlighted
  2. Tap the "Menu" icon located in the top right corner. Menu Icon (3 lines) is highlighted
  3. Tap [ Settings ]. Settings option is highlighted
  4. Tap [ Video Settings ]. Video Settings option is highlighted
  5. Tap [ Other Settings ]. Other Settings option is highlighted
  6. To turn ON WDR or HLS tap the toggle switch. (Green is ON). WDR and HLS are toggled off  WDR and HLS are toggled on
