How to wash rice before cooking.
Model SR-3NAL
Because the rice cooking time includes a water-absorbing process (the soaking time of the rice), you can cook rice that has just been washed.
It is not necessary to soak rice in water before cooking or to steam it after cooking. Your rice cooker does this for you!
Rice cooking process
- Water absorption - The rice is heated at low heat allowing sufficient absorption of water to its core.
- Cooking complete - Heat is quickly and evenly applied, maintaining boiling without spillage.
- Steaming - Uniform water content is achieved by blowing off excess water from the rice grain surface.
- When the buzzer sounds, rice cooking is complete.
- Upon the completion of rice cooking, the "Keep warm" function is automatically turned ON.
Note:
- Cooking rice that has been soaked, please use the "Quick" program.
