No power on a Amazon fire TV.
Possible solutions.
- Plug the TV power cord into another power receptacle.
- If using a power strip or surge protector bypass that device for this test.
- Still not powering on, check the wall receptacle with a lamp or other small appliance to verify power is available. (Keep in mind that some outlets may have a ground fault circuit interrupter that needs to be reset or a light switch they must be turned on to allow power to the outlet.)
- If no power is coming from the outlet check the circuit breaker or fuse box of your home to make sure that none of the breakers have been tripped.
- After verifying the TV is plugged into a working outlet, try pressing the [POWER] button on the TV instead of the TV remote.
If the outlet is functioning and the TV still doesn’t power on after pressing the [POWER] button on the TV, please submit a Fire TV Warranty Claim Form.
Once submitted a customer service representative will contact you.
