No power on a Amazon fire TV.

Possible solutions.

  1. Plug the TV power cord into another power receptacle.
  2. If using a power strip or surge protector bypass that device for this test.
  3. Still not powering on, check the wall receptacle with a lamp or other small appliance to verify power is available. (Keep in mind that some outlets may have a ground fault circuit interrupter that needs to be reset or a light switch they must be turned on to allow power to the outlet.)
  4. If no power is coming from the outlet check the circuit breaker or fuse box of your home to make sure that none of the breakers have been tripped.
  5. After verifying the TV is plugged into a working outlet, try pressing the [POWER] button on the TV instead of the TV remote.

If the outlet is functioning and the TV still doesn’t power on after pressing the [POWER] button on the TV, please submit a Fire TV Warranty Claim Form.

Once submitted a customer service representative will contact you.
