Step by Step Troubleshooting - The touch sensor does not work on one earbud - TWS earbuds

Troubleshooting Steps

Perform the following steps in the order listed.

Step One

Put the non-responsive earbud in the charging case. Wait till the LED turns red, then remove. Is the touch sensor now operational?

Yes - Problem resolved.

No - Continue to Step Two.

Step Two

Can you hear sound when using the touch sensor on the non-operational earbud?

Yes - Continue to Step Three.

No - There appears to be a service issue with the earbuds. Contact your place of purchase or contact a Panasonic Authorized Servicer.

Step Three

Perform a factory reset.

  1. Ensure that you charge the earbuds before restoring them to their factory settings.
  2. Take the right earbud out of the charging case. Once the LED light has turned blue, touch and hold the touch sensor(on the right earbud) for roughly 7 seconds. The earbud's LED will alternate between blue and red.
  3. Within 1-2 seconds from performing step 2, touch and hold the right earbud's touch sensor for about 10 seconds. The earbud's blue LED will blink rapidly, and when the power turns off, the right earbud will return to it's original factory settings.
  4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 with the left earbud to complete the factory resetting process.

After a factory reset, is the touch sensor operational?
