Troubleshooting - A humming sound during playback. - Technics Audio

Check the following possible causes;

• An AC main lead (Power cord) or fluorescent light is near the cables. Keep other appliances and cords away from the cables of this unit.
• A strong magnetic field from a TV or other electronic device may adversely affect the audio quality. Keep this unit away from such devices.
• The speakers may output noise when a device nearby is emitting powerful radio waves, such as when a mobile phone when it is on a call.
• For models that have a earth lead. Make sure the earth lead is correctly connected.
• For models with an Attenuator switch, set the [ATTENUATOR] switch to [ON] which is located on the rear panel.
