Troubleshooting - Battery life is short in cold temperatures. - HomeHawk

In cold weather, the battery life of the cameras which are placed outdoor will become short due to the characteristics of lithium ion battery.

Make sure to charge the camera indoors and in a dry location. If you charge the camera in cold temperature, it will not be charged.

Charging specifications

Charge the camera in a location with a temperature between 5 and 40 degrees Celsius (41°F and 104 °F). The camera cannot charge in locations outside of these temperatures.
